Location: Mumbai

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the BU Segment leaders & Segment Finance leaders in support of the daily/weekly/monthly reporting rhythm of key metrics and analytics.
• Independently manage the Life Sciences R&D cost centers globally (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis), direct support of the Life Sciences R&D leader in the preparation of monthly and quarterly operating review with a focus on R&D hours, external project spending, and overall cost by project, by account and by teams.
• Provide monthly Opex forecast for all R&D projects and cost centers, prepare the variance analysis against AOP, prior periods and Corporate targets.
• Facilitate the preparation & review of R&D project business cases, particularly around investment (both Opex & Capex), projected revenue and margins.
• Develop and maintain tools to improve forecasting and reporting of sales and gross margins for the Life Sciences business units.  Assist BU segment leaders in understanding the trends and answer questions as related to underlying trends within the data.
• Identify opportunities for automation/innovation and assist in solutions implementation for the Life Sciences business unit.
• Ad Hoc analyses in support of cross functional teams within the Life Sciences business unit including product management, strategy and R&D members of staff.
• Utilize leadership and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment. This position works with various functions of the company across the globe and work activities require direct interaction with senior business and finance leaders throughout Revvity.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Management or Economics.

·        MBA in Finance must.

·        Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in FP&A role i.e., finance or business/commercial operations experience.

·        Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.

·        Must be an analytical thinker with a strong financial mindset and the ability to solve problems proactively.

·        Strong operational mindset to create standardized, repeatable financial reports and deliver them with accuracy and timeliness.

·        Highly accountable and driven business professional

·        Proficient in Essbase/HFM, SAP, Power BI, Business Objects, SQL, Advance MS Office skills especially in Excel
