About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who combines strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and sound business judgment to support leadership decision-making. As a key member of the team, you’ll focus on analyzing financial and business data, understanding the cost and revenue implications of strategic decisions, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll also leverage existing data, tools, and financial platforms to drive strategy, operational efficiency, and performance visibility across the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with the CFO/Co-Founder and Director of Finance & Accounting on the company’s top growth and profitability priorities.


What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end financial analyses, from problem definition through recommendation, with limited oversight
  • Analyze financial and operational data to assess the impact of business decisions on cost structure, margins, and revenue
  • Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards and reports for leadership using tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights across multiple data sources
  • Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to:
    • Understand and clarify business questions and data needs
    • Translate ambiguous problems into structured, actionable analyses
    • Deliver insights that directly influence strategic decision-making
    • Develop clear narratives around financial performance, trade-offs, and risk
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and financial visibility across the business
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data used in leadership reporting

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar) or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for independent data analysis and insight generation
  • Advanced experience using business intelligence and visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, unit economics, and business KPIs, with the ability to apply them in ambiguous, real-world business scenarios
  • Ability to evaluate and clearly explain the financial implications of business and operational decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple analytical priorities simultaneously
  • Experience supporting US or UK based businesses, or familiarity with their financial practices and reporting expectations
  • Experience working in investment banking, consulting, or data analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments where analysts are expected to work with limited structure and high ownership
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including independently presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Experience improving reporting automation and analytical workflows

Location Requirements

  • Onsite in a hybrid schedule in our New Delhi office
  • This role works closely with US-based leadership and requires overlap with Eastern Time working hours
