Job Description Summary
Global Technology Services (GTS) is Aegon's global IT partner that provides infrastructure services, information security and global/corporate application support for Aegon's businesses around the world.
From 6 locations in the US, the Netherlands, UK, and Hungary, we support 20+ country units and 24000+ employees in the world. Our support consists of a wide range of centralized global IT services such as programming, database management, project management, agile/dev/ops, and more.
We continue to maximize the value from having a clear digital and data technology platform strategy that extends our ecosystem, as an approach to digitization, enhancing customer experience, and improving operational efficiency.
Summary of Job Purpose:
The GTS Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for providing insightful management reporting to enable GTS managers and leaders to successfully deliver on performance, strategy, and financial plans. This includes ownership of appropriate monthly/ quarterly financial reporting, the annual budget process, regular forecasting, and business partnering.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for applying financial analysis, knowledge and judgment to activities that are diverse. These activities include analysis for actual, budget and forecasting requirements to functions of the GTS organization. Key support will also be required to help the Aegon business unit’s stakeholder management, aiding the business units in their understanding of their GTS service consumption compared to budget and alignment with their strategic roadmaps.
Job Description
What You Will Do:
Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform appropriate analyses.

Analyzes financial data and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial result.

Exhibits a thorough understanding of business and analysis concepts.

Participate in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
-
Involved in the analysis and reporting of budgeting and midterm planning for a key GTS function.

Recommends changes to processes to improve and achieve greater efficiencies.

Financial analysis and reporting for business units within Aegon that receive IT services from GTS. Aiding the units in understanding their IT service consumption and the changes compared to budget
-
Works effectively with other GTS organizational functions to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years experience, with degree.

Advanced computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Solid knowledge of accounting/financial.

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, ability to handle multiple projects, customer service approach, willingness to take on new projects, analytical.

Work effectively individually and within a team; organizational and prioritization skills.
Working Conditions:

Commuting Remote employees will need to report to a Company office location at times, but will perform their work primarily remotely.
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $75,000 - $100,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
