Job Responsibilities:
Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in reviewing financial metrics, accounts, and processes to ensure compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. This position supports plant leadership by delivering accurate financial analysis, managing key programs such as the Steel Resale Program, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, and periodic financial results.
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
  • Monitor and manage the Steel Resale Program, serving as Finance liaison between OEMs and internal teams.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal financial controls.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cross-functional finance support as needed.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to improve financial processes, controls, and efficiency.

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working with steel suppliers, OEMs, budgeting systems, or compliance audits is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with integrated financial and manufacturing software systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical and financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
