The Opportunity

This position works out of our Bogotá or Medellín locations in the Cardiac Rythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

The Senior Financial Analyst role is the key liaison between finance and the sales team. It must support unique models and rebate programs to ensure the Division’s liability is sufficient and properly supported. This role must also identify risks, assess assumptions, and propose recommendations and solutions to issues.

What You’ll Do

  • .Manage rebate implementation, accrual, reporting, and payment processes
  • Maintain rebate schedule for each customer's individual rebate program, ensuring rebates are accurately calculated and accrued on a monthly basis.
  • Provide quarterly rebate review summaries, and conduct quarterly rebate reviews with sales management and Contracts to validate the accuracy and reasonableness of accruals, highlight contract or compliance issues, identify revenue opportunities, payments due, etc.
  • Verify contractual compliance as required, prior to releasing rebates earned, and ensure all rebate payments are appropriately calculated, documented, and approved prior to payment.
  • .Manage all technology credit purchases made using rebate funds
  • Support CALA HQ with financial analysis and reports to support the Annual Plan and Latest Best Estimate (LBE) quarterly forecast process for all aspects of the CRM Division.
  • Support the month-end close process and reporting of monthly financial performance metrics. Partner with Commercial and Functional teams to analyze sales and P&L performance versus various financial benchmarks.
  • Perform adhoc requests and drive cross-business analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support.

Required Qualifications

  • BA / BS Accounting or Finance or related field; CPA or advanced education degree is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Hlookup, Sumifs, etc) and financial applications i.e., SAP, Business Objects
  • Excellent English communication skills, French would be considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectivelywith all levels of management.
  • Ability to prioritize and to meet strict deadline requirements
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
