Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop and own the company’s financial models, maintain ownership of financial and data analytics while acting as the go-to financial advisor for various functions and departments. The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in establishing processes while conducting financial and data analysis, and high-level financial planning. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays an important role in creating and managing reports for internal and external deliverables, financial statement and KPI analyses, budgeting and forecasting, and assisting global licensing efforts.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparation of regulatory reporting in accordance with guidelines from government agencies and organizations overseeing financial markets and institutions

  • Financial analysis and reporting for Management - identifying trends/areas for growth, presenting detailed and high-level metrics demonstrating the financial health of the company, and providing individual and consolidated financial reports for global entities

  • Analyze and monitor operating expenses and revenue trends for global entities

  • Primary ownership of company-wide forecast models (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and budget/forecast vs. actuals

  • Devise financial analyses templates and models; aggregate, organize, and summarize data, financials, and KPIs for Management reports and presentations

  • Conduct variance/flux analyses – identify month-over-month (MoM) changes and explain key drivers of fluctuations; identify and monitor company/industry trends

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments, demonstrate proactive and transparent communication, and the ability to maintain ownership of projects

  • Ad hoc reporting and analytics for delivering real-time insights

  • Implementation of policies and procedures to streamline and automate processes to facilitate the expansion of the Finance team’s scope and outreach

 

What We Look For In You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred)

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Consulting or Investment Banking

  • Excellent three-statement modeling ability

  • Strong understanding of key accounting concepts – accruals and differences between P/L and B/S accounts

  • Excellent financial/data analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – create, revise, and maintain financial models and reports – case study is required

  • Experience in building reporting templates, presentations and decks – Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools

  • Familiarity with implementing policies and procedures while acting as the project manager and point of contact

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to set clearly defined objectives, establish priorities, plan activities and projects and manage time effectively. Monitor progress against deadlines and milestones

 

Nice To Haves:

  • Experience with various data and analytical tools: SQL, Tableau, Power BI

  • Implementation and/or operation of FP&A Software tools: Vena, Datarails, Jedox, Prophix

  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite and ERPs

  • Prior experience working in a global fintech and/or crypto exchange with business acumen within the fintech/crypto exchange industry

The salary range for this position is $101,000 to $127,000.

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the [salary] / [hourly wage], a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
