The Centre of Financial Excellence (COFE) is a service responsible for ensuring financial processes and reporting are standardised, controlled and efficiently executed across the Group. As part of COFE as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the Fuel Business Unit and manage financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities which support decision making. This role will collaborate with the business to produce monthly management reporting for actuals and forecast, develop financial plans and undertake analysis and research activities for continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will work on the consolidation, validation and reporting on periodic budgets and statutory reporting processes whilst ensuring a sound financial control and governance framework is maintained.

You’ll have -

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail, managing complex financial models with large data volumes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice
  • Considerable exposure to forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Oracle experience
  • Advanced excel skills, experience in ESSBASE and Hyperion spreadsheet packages preferred
  • A high level of accountability and ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience using PowerBi and Alteryx desirable
