Senior Financial Analyst, Sales Finance

Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst will perform frequent and detailed financial analyses for assigned sales region. Present recommendations to management regarding P&L management and process improvements. Will take on ad hoc projects and show leadership to less experienced staff. Knowledgeable in variance analysis and reliable partner. May perform business partnering, analytics, AOP & Strat Plan, monthly forecasting, Metrics & Scorecard, and Period close.

Position Responsibilities

• Be a partner for specified function on accounting and finance related questions. This will involve the ability to assess business needs, quickly problem solve and identify any risks and opportunities.
• Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan.
• Update the monthly forecast for assigned team based on business changes. Communicate changes to business partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary on the changes and guidance on potential risk.
• Participate in monthly meetings with Sales and Business Planning during lock reviews and track Risk and Opportunities
• Participate in Weekly sales meetings to stay informed and capture business performance updates
• Contribute to month-end/quarter-end close presentations regarding business performance via P&L and Customer Investments analysis
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests depending on the assigned function (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing).
• Responsible for project work that will rotate and cut across several different financial disciplines including FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments.
• Lead the development of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned function.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 4+ years of professional general business and financial experience
• Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
• Experience working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
• Experience with SAP, PBI or other software tools

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
