Core Responsibilities
- Own inventory accuracy, timely issue resolution, and disciplined month-end close execution
- Develop VBA and analytics-driven automation for FE unit inventory to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls
- Leverage strong data and analytical skills to drive continuous process improvement and efficiency gains
- Partner closely with global finance, manufacturing, and operations stakeholders to support standard costing and inventory accounting activities
- Build deep understanding of Micron manufacturing flows, supply chain processes, product attribution, and inventory valuation
- Support timely standard cost setting and inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Analyze and explain monthly changes in standard cost forecasts, inventory drivers, and manufacturing variances
- Support inventory accounting activities including period-end close, reconciliations, reserves, and forecast-to-actual analysis
- Support monthly and quarterly forecast reviews, inventory performance tracking, and cost actualization
- Prepare data-driven insights, summaries, and recommendations to enable cost and inventory improvements

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
- Demonstrated experience in inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging global stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline, with demonstrated experience in inventory accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analytics.
Technical & Analytics Skills (Preferred):
- Advanced Power BI skills (data modeling, reporting, automation)
- Strong VBA and Excel automation experience to improve efficiency and data reliability
- Familiarity with Impact ECS, SAP, and financial reporting / planning tools (e.g., TM1, Power BI, Adaptive Insights)
- Experience with financial or business process modeling is a plus
