Role Overview:
This role oversees daily Accounts payables operations and employee disbursement operations, ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing, payment runs, and expense management. It drives large‑scale process optimization initiatives with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, control strength, and superior user experience across the organization. The role serves as a key partner in enterprise‑wide finance system transformations and SOX governance, ensuring alignment with group accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and long‑term business objectives.
What You Will Do:
Accounts Payables operations
- Manage end-to-end P2P processes not limited but mainly response vendor settlement, payment processing, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with group policies, approval controls, and payment terms
- Improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and internal user experience coordinating between Taiwan local employees and Shared Service Center in China
- Work closely with Shared Service Center and oversee employee payments, including expense reimbursements
- Ensure Taiwan employees awareness and attention to Travel & Expense Global policies
- Partner with payroll team and treasury team to ensure smooth and timely payments
- Identify process gaps and pain points from end-user and stakeholder perspectives
- Redesign workflows to improve efficiency, transparency, and user experience
- Develop clear SOPs, guidelines, and training materials for users
- High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in ERP or finance system implementation projects
- Support UAT, data validation, End User Training and solution design with user-centric mindset
- Ensure system solutions align with accounting and statutory requirements and user needs
- Demonstrated involvement in finance system implementation, migration, or enhancement projects (e.g., ERP upgrades, new AP or payroll platforms).
- Working knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements.
- US SOX experience is a strong plus, particularly in designing, executing, and documenting controls related to AP and payroll cycles.
- Ability to work closely with HQ each process owners’, Internal Control team, internal audit and external auditors.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and internal controls
- 7–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- Solid hands‑on experience in AP, payroll, and period‑end close
- Familiarity with SOX controls, internal audits, and group accounting policies
- Strong process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and end‑user experience
- Fluent in English for day‑to‑day communication with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Proven involvement in finance process improvement initiatives or finance system implementation projects. Project management or process improvement related certifications will be added advantage.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to coordinate between US GAAP and local GAAP
- Experience supporting overseas headquarters, including group reporting and audit coordination
- Ability to translate accounting and control requirements into practical system or process solutions
