This position will involve close collaboration with
finance leadership, FP&A, and operational teams to ensure the delivery of
accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful
financial analysis to support business decision-making.
The successful candidate will operate in a
fast-paced international environment and will have the opportunity to
contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of monthly and year-to-date financial statements for
assigned entities within the group, primarily the U.S. entities.
· Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process
in accordance with internal reporting deadlines.
· Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring all balance
sheet accounts are fully reconciled, supported, and reviewed.
· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including US
GAAP where relevant.
· Assist with the analysis of financial performance against budgets and
forecasts, identifying key trends and variances.
· Coordinate with FP&A with regards to the analysis of revenue and
profit margins across the company’s product and service lines, identifying
drivers of performance.
· Review and analyze the company’s cost base, working with FP&A and
department managers to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for
efficiency and cost optimization.
· Prepare and maintain bi-weekly cash flow forecasts, providing insight
and analysis to support effective treasury and working capital management.
· Support the annual statutory audit process across group entities,
ensuring timely completion and coordination with external auditors.
· Assist with the preparation of tax and regulatory filings, including
corporate tax, indirect taxes, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
· Support the annual budget process and periodic forecasts with FP&A.
· Provide financial business partnering support to business leaders and
department managers, helping to translate financial information into actionable
insights.
· Support and lead finance and accounting-related projects, including
improvements to systems, processes, and reporting as well as benefit and 401(k)
plans.
· Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial reporting and
analysis tools across the finance function.
- While the role will
initially focus on the U.S. entities, the successful candidate may also support
other entities within the group as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of progressive experience within Finance/Accounting; CPA
preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting skills as well as
proven analytical skills.
- Experience in tax compliance within the
U.S., preferably with multi-state operations.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems, with experience in MS
Dynamics Business Central ERP being preferred (but not required).
- Strong Excel skills with experience in Power Query desirable.
- Positive, friendly demeanor with a firm customer service orientation.
