We are looking for a detail-oriented  Senior Financial Accountant to join our Group Accounting team. In this role, you will manage daily accounting operations for our Multitude Group entities, support in audits and tax compliance, and contribute to process improvements. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic international team playing a critical role in accurate financial reporting and compliance across the Group. 

Your Focus: 

  • Manage daily accounting operations: invoice processing, accruals, payments, payroll and other more complex reconciliations. 

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports. 

  • Improve the development cost capitalization process. 

  • Ensure compliance with Slovak Accounting Standards, IFRS and Group accounting policies. 

  • Prepare and submit VAT, income tax filings, statistical and regulatory reports. 

  • Collaborate with third-party accounting firms for local compliance and reporting. 

  • Support audit preparation and ensure audit-readiness of documentation. 

  • Contribute to accounting and internal process improvements. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations. 

 
Required Skills & Qualifications: 
 

Must-Have: 

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational environment. 

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, Slovak Accounting Standards, and tax compliance. 

  • Solid understanding of IFRS reporting.  

  • Proficiency in Excel. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Native/Fluency in Slovak and English (both written and spoken) 
     

Nice-to-Have: 

  • Experience working with external accounting providers. 

  • Experience with Workday or other similar ERPs  

  • Currently in process or in possession of professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA).

The starting salary for this position is €2,500 gross per month.
