Purpose of the Role
- to prepare and post accruals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
- to support accuracy and completeness of the reporting in the financial and Statutory statements
- to apply finance technical reporting expertise to accounting processes, including IFRS standards
- to continuously monitor the BS accounts for any inconsistencies
- to operate the statutory and transfer pricing processes
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
- Support key financial controlling processes: month end and period end closes, journal entry preparation, financial statement preparation and review, KPI and data quality monitoring, balance sheet review preparation, adherence to CARM controls
Support that statutory and management reporting for the legal entities within the scope of the role is completed accurately, on time and in line with internal and external controls. - Prepare year-end statutory adjustments and transfer pricing reports with the relevant stakeholders in the market and in Group.
- Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completion
Qualifications:
- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business / Qualified accountant
- 3-4 years’ experience in accounting area
- Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
- Good understanding of the financial controlling processes (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
- Good Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
- Advanced analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver message,
- Fluency in Mandarin
