This role

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing support to servicing existing debt investors and the finance team’s efforts in managing by supporting our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Global Finance Director and the Finance Director of Latam to support ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and modeling in support of PayJoy’s aggressive goals.
• The role will have straight contact with the FP&A team in the US.
• Develop financial models (top-down and bottom-up) for budgeting, business forecasting, company health, and pricing evaluation.
• Provide periodic KPI reporting to headquarters in the USA.
• Work closely with the regional General Manager in Peru and Ecuador to model the value of future partnership opportunities.
• Support company-wide budgeting processes including monthly budget vs. actuals analysis of operating and non-operating cash flows.
• Run distribution calculations for principal and interest for multiple debt facilities.
• Create local dashboards providing real-time insight into KPIs and other financial metrics.
• Work closely with the accounting team to gather financial information and assist with the reconciliation of Local GAAP versus US GAAP.
• Assist accounting in the audit processValidate the taxes paid.
• Support operations in making payments to merchants and reconciling the transactions with accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT or related field.
• CFA, CPA, Masters in Finance or MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment.
• Previous experience in leading consultancies, financial institutions or fintech is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis techniques.Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, financial reporting standards and local regulation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent Excel modeling skills, Google Sheets, Netsuite, PBCS/Hyperion experience is a plus.
