ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Finance Controller — a key role that combines financial controlling and FP&A responsibilities, helping Sofascore maintain, optimize, and scale existing financial processes while supporting the company’s continued growth and strategic development.
You’ll work on a mix of operational and analytical tasks — enhancing financial frameworks, refining reports, and improving budgeting and forecasting processes to provide better insights for decision-making. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to drive improvements in financial performance and efficiency across the company.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Maintain, optimize, and further develop financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Enhance and refine management reports and dashboards for improved decision-making
- Conduct financial analyses and provide actionable recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop ad-hoc business cases for key projects and provide strategic insights
- Perform variance analysis and provide informed recommendations based on results
- Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial standards
- Provide ongoing financial support and analysis to other departments
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them grow professionally
What you bring to the team
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Experience in a Big Four firm is a strong plus
- Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
