JOB SUMMARY
Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud EPM Analyst / Administrator to support, administer, and enhance its Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management platform. This role will focus primarily on Oracle Cloud Planning / EPBCS while also supporting related EPM applications such as FCCS, ARCS, EDM, Smart View, Narrative Reporting, and other Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities. The position requires a strong combination of hands-on EPM administration, technical development, finance process knowledge, business analysis, production support, and continuous improvement experience. Direct experience with Oracle Cloud Planning / EPBCS is required and should include application administration, forms, dashboards, business rules, data maps, Smart Push, metadata, security, integrations, reporting, and support of planning or forecasting cycles.
The role requires strong technical skills, including Groovy scripting for Planning business rules, validations, automation, data movement, and performance optimization. Experience with EPM Automate, REST APIs, Data Integration, pipeline or batch processing, ERP or general ledger integrations, Smart View, Microsoft Excel, and technical troubleshooting is strongly preferred. The candidate should be able to support production jobs, monitor integrations, research data variances, resolve reconciliation issues, and maintain application reliability.
A strong finance or accounting background is important for success in this role. The candidate should understand budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial statements, consolidation, close, account reconciliation, and corporate finance processes. The role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and IT teams, so the candidate must be comfortable translating business requirements into scalable Oracle EPM solutions and explaining technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Oracle Cloud EPM Analyst / Administrator will administer, maintain, and enhance Oracle Cloud EPM applications with a primary emphasis on Planning / EPBCS. Responsibilities include supporting application configurations, dimensions, metadata, security, business rules, integrations, Smart View reporting, scheduled jobs, and production support activities. The role will also assist with planning and forecast cycles, troubleshoot user and system issues, and help ensure data accuracy across source and target systems.
- This position will gather and document business requirements, prepare functional and technical documentation, recommend process improvements, and develop automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. The candidate will work across functional and technical teams to deliver enhancements, support change management, and promote best practices for Oracle Cloud EPM administration and development.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- High-level self-sufficient role with customers, FIT Business Analysts, and other team members to convert documented capability needs and drive quality business solutions on complex issues. Through a process of analysis, design, development, unit testing, supporting UAT, and go-live enablement; provide capabilities that meets the enterprise standard models.
- Assist in production support as required to maintain the overall EPM production environment. Manage Data Load process & Forms.
- Provide required business and/or subject matter expertise for both project and production related activities on complex issues, including new strategic programs or initiatives impacting current and existing systems.
- Assist in the delivery and execution of large scale, multi-year client enterprise transformation programs by: gathering required data through direct observation and/or inquiry and synthesizing data into meaningful design; analyzing, identifying and problem solving from information sets drawing. conclusions from information sets based on analysis, creating hypotheses and presenting recommendations to team; developing client specific design, standard operating procedures, functional roles & responsibilities, process flow and user guides.
- Supports various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects are realized and completing analysis of the results tying back to customer impacts.
- Assure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate in an exemplary manner with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting design walkthroughs and sprint reviews, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.
- Mentor and provide guidance and education to business functional users and team members.

EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or closely related discipline

- Combination of technical education and finance/accounting knowledge strongly preferred.

- Significant experience supporting Oracle Cloud EPM applications required.
