About the Team

The hummgroup culture is fast-paced and high-achieving, and it is imperative that the Head of Portfolio Management brings a dynamic and can-do approach to the business.

The role and the business are suited to someone who is flexible, pro-active and can multi-task.  hummgroup operates with a relatively lean, flat organisational structure and all staff are required to take end-to-end responsibility for their area of focus.  They must also be flexible and quick to learn, able to take on additional and/or different products/channels as required.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support the strategic and operational finance needs of hummgroup’s Australian Consumer businesses. The role goes beyond a traditional ‘back office’ accounting job and is the link between finance and management, acting as trusted advisors and providing valuable analysis and insights to influence the decision-making process.

Through market, segment, portfolio risk analysis and modelling, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities designed to increase market share and profitability.

You will develop commercial financial models to support decision making within our business and drive business growth. They will provide strategic insights to senior leaders and require strong analytical skills, financial acumen and ability to see the bigger picture.

The role will suit someone who can operate independently and manage their work effectively, with a sense of urgency, and in line with organisation’s business priorities and goals.
