KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Bain Capital Credit’s leverage facilities including middle market CLO’s, asset-backed facilities, and fund level financing arrangements. Oversee liquidity planning across a spectrum of levered private credit funds, including Bain Capital’s BDCs, evergreen funds and SMAs.
Liquidity Forecasting & Management
- Forecast fund-level liquidity and leverage metrics, factoring in new deal pipeline, realizations and use of financing facilities.
- Prepare borrowing / paydown requests to maintain appropriate liquidity for new deal funding and other cash needs
- Maintain, and advise Portfolio Management team on, fund-level liquidity and leverage statistics over various time horizons and stressed scenarios
Leverage Facility Administration & Management
- Maintain borrowing bases and portfolio surveillance models to support liquidity and financing facility management processes.
- Optimize financing facility collateral to maximize availability and manage against facility concentration limits and eligibility criteria.
- Drive collateral reporting process with trustees and other reporting requirements with lenders for credit facilities and CLOs as required by indentures / credit agreements.
- Coordinate with lenders, trustees and Bain Operations to execute quarterly waterfall distributions for credit facilities and CLOs.
- Coordinate with rating agencies to obtain credit estimates for portfolio companies.
- Facilitate lender asset review process with Bain deal teams ahead of primary deal fundings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes and technology solutions to improve day-to-day efficiency and accuracy.
DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably working within private credit and/or CLO’s
- Four-year college degree with a strong academic background

Compensation:
Expected Annual Base Salary $95,000 – 110,000
Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
