The salary range for this role, based in New York is $88,560.00 to $110,700.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The position of Senior Finance Analyst, Integration is an important role in the in Pernod Ricard USA Finance organization; supporting the integration of our recent acquisitions, providing detailed financial reporting and analysis, and following best practices across all finance processes. This position will need to have a thorough understanding of our end-to-end transaction process and timeline for integrating partner brands. This position with interact cross-functionally and partners with multiple stakeholders (Operations, Accounting, Marketing, Portfolio Finance, Commercial Finance, Brand Entrepreneurs, Exec, PR HQ).

The position requires a candidate with finance expertise and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outstanding ability to build relationships internally and with new brand partners. You have an interest and ability to taking charge of various processes and projects, while driving efficiencies and standardization. This individual should love to live in the weeds but also to understand the big picture because it is a critical role for our growth and strategy.

This position reports to the VP US Whiskeys & Agave.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support new brand integration for Pernod Ricard USA; responsible for the integration of newly acquired brands according to the Pernod Ricard Group timetable and integration strategy.
  • Role is a PR USA finance point for PR stakeholders after the closing of an M&A transaction and supports the change aspects of Pernod Ricard portfolio management.
  • PR USA liaison to the Global M&A team, supporting local market requests and M&A financial performance review(s) for the PR Burex and/or Strategic Committee.
  • The role would engage with third parties participating in M&A transactions to support data and change management needs.
  • Local PR USA expert regarding the parameters of executed M&A transactions.
  • Act as advocate for the Finance Department on all Finance related topics during the integration phase of all new business.
  • Support business leads across PR USA in reviewing/discussing/monitoring progress on key tasks, risks and dependencies for assigned integration initiatives.
  • Maintain internal control structure and procedures for integration processes and documentation.
  • Provide Portfolio Finance team with business insights linked to the acquisition to strengthen the forecasting process.
  • Coordinate the initial planning process and requirements with the new businesses.
  • Work in close relationship with the Operations team to ensure a holistic integration plan and execution.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting records (both P&L and Balance sheet) over the course of integration in partnership with the North American Accounting team.
  • Support the execution of ad-hoc strategic projects for new and recent acquisitions.
  • Aide integration process for previously executed acquisitions.

Education & Experience Requirements

- Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred

- Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in finance and operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills - structured approach and capable of managing competing numerous work streams simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels. Adaptive to different audiences.
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success.
