The Role

Job Description Summary

This lead role is responsible for shaping, orchestrating and executing initiatives that optimize performance and drive growth for all customer facing roles. It will work closely and collaboratively with the Senior/ Lead Business Insights & Performance and the appropriate GCCs (where appropriate) to identify optimal GTM approaches and or key business questions.
The role is responsible for coordinating local associates and GCCs for designing and managing sales incentive programs, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales activation strategies with business objectives. It will also lead on critical areas of segmentation, targeting, sales force size and deployment, and territory management and critically sharpening the optimization of appropriate channels utilizing and coordinating appropriate datasets
The Senior role would also work in close collaboration with other key markets and Region Europe to shape future strategies and activities to optimize all FF activities. This role would also work with other Com Ex functions such as Customer Engagement and Training to share valuable insights to en-able these functions to deliver capabilities in full

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and oversee key field force operations activities, providing business context for Sales and Training (S&T) initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive the implementation and communication of Field Force (FF) incentives and targets
    in a harmonized manner, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure fairness,
    consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Provides consultancy, advice and assistance on strategy for commercialization of products,
    and influence marketing and sales teams on decision making in most optimal ways, through
    delivery of proven analytics based projects.
  • In conjunction with Business Unit head/s, design the selling strategy and targeting ap-
    proach incl. resource allocation, promotional grids, reach & frequency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Head of Sales and BU Heads, addressing their
    needs, concerns, and providing support to enhance their performance.
  • Monitor effectiveness of the field force e.g. conducting return on investment on strategic
    initiatives, health check of incentives, SFE KPI monitoring of reach & frequency, monthly
    report for local leadership team on key KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement,
    efficiency, and effectiveness within Field Force operations.
  • Act as the key liaison between all colleagues to support local adoption of harmonised
    processes (where appropriate/ relevant) including, but not limited to:
    • KPI definitions for SFE and Market Shares
    • Leveraging segmentation and targeting approach for customer engagements
    • Providing critical and insightful local business context for projects involving field
      design, resource allocations, data sets etc.
  • Contributing to Regional initiatives and projects to drive a higher impact.
  • Leverages Regional & Global best practises and playbooks, to adopt locally.
  • Joins and actively contributes to Regional communities to foster engagement, connection and collaboration across markets

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Force Effectiveness, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement.
  • FF/Customer facing incentive scheme management.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams (i.e. Local/Region/Global).
  • Proven ability to make decisions fast, influencing without formal authority.
  • Demonstrate growth mindset, smart risk taking and external focus.
  • In depth understanding of the Pharma market: key dynamics, competitors, local regulations.
