About the role:
The Senior Expert Digital Activation owns the hands-on setup, monitoring, and optimization of Retail Media campaigns across Sponsored Products as well as Paid Social and Programmatic channels (offsite). Acting as the central link between Campaign Managers and technical campaign execution, the role translates media plans into precise campaign setups, ensures defined campaign objectives are met, and is the team's subject matter expert for platforms and activation best practices.
Job DescriptionAbout your tasks:
- Own the end-to-end setup, activation, and optimisation of Retail Media campaigns across Sponsored Products, Paid Social, and Programmatic platforms such as Meta and DV360.
- Translate media plans into high-quality technical campaign setups, including targeting, bidding strategies, budget allocation, creatives, tracking, and attribution logic.
- Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance using KPIs such as ROAS, ACOS, CPC, CPM, CPA, and CVR, identifying opportunities through audience refinements, bid adjustments, creative testing, and placement optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with Campaign Managers, Ad Tech, and Data teams to ensure accurate tracking, flawless technical implementation, and transparent reporting across all campaigns.
- Drive operational excellence by contributing to best practices, playbooks, and activation standards, while sharing expertise on Retail Media, Paid Social, and Programmatic innovations with the wider team.
About you:
- You bring 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, ad operations, or retail media environments.
- You have strong expertise in Retail Media platforms, Sponsored Products, Paid Social, and/or Programmatic Buying, ideally including tools such as Meta Ads Manager, DV360, Amazon Advertising, or comparable DSPs.
- You enjoy working with performance data, tracking setups, and campaign optimisation, and know how to turn insights into measurable business impact.
- You combine a structured and detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership, curiosity for new technologies, and confidence in collaborating with international stakeholders in both German and English.

Skills Required
- 4-6+ years hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, ad operations, or retail media
