Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
1. Owned channel management
· Management, maintenance and development of Newsroom and Linkedin content calendar
· Ensuring timely uploads, and keeping high upload rates of mandated/recommended Newsroom content from Global HQ and Regional HQ sources
· Development of locally-originated Newsroom content around a variety of topics, including but not restricted to CSR, HR engagement, B2B and Singapore-specific product launch content
· Development of engaging, LinkedIn-specific content on a variety of topics, including but not restricted to CSR, HR engagement, B2B and Singapore-specific product launch content
· Using aforementioned content to execute and iterate on the brand’s 2026 LinkedIn strategy with the goal of platform expansion and engagement
2. Global and Regional stakeholder engagement and management
· Timely report submissions to Regional HQ for campaigns, launches and other ad-hoc requests
· Work with Regional HQ colleagues in a supporting role or in a requested capacity for any regional activations held in Singapore
· Ensuring the reputation and prestige of the Singapore office is upheld in the eyes of Global and Regional colleagues
3. Corporate and key executive profile uplift
· Work with the relevant agencies to identify opportunities for key executive uplift
· Activities include, but are not limited to thought leadership events, keynote speeches and panel discussions
· Leverage these opportunities to increase Earned coverage across major local news outlets
4. One Samsung CSR
· Assist in refining the model of the flagship Solve For Tomorrow CSR initiative as it prepares for its tenth anniversary outing
· Act as the driving force behind the brand’s CSR integration strategy for 2026 and beyond
· Building on Solve For Tomorrow, identify new/refine existing opportunities with governmental and non-governmental partners for programme awareness and uplift
· Using these opportunities to build audiences of tomorrow (Gen A)
5. Agency & Partner Management
· Serve as the main point of contact for PR and KOL agencies driving alignment, cadence, and performance.
· Build collaborative relationships with media partners (SPH, Mediacorp, etc.) and other media outlet partners to build innovative, hard-hitting co-branded content
· Utilising this content to bolster Owned content KPIs
6. Media and KOL relationship management
· Grow new and maintain existing relationships with members of the local media and KOLs
· Take the lead in ownership of said relationships, working in tandem with the PR and KOL agencies
7. Creative Innovation & Trendspotting
· Champion a culture of creativity and experimentation — bringing forward emerging trends, formats, and culturally relevant ideas.
· Continuously refresh approach to reflect audience-first thinking and platform developments
7. Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment
· Work cross-functionally with eCommerce, CRM, Retail, Social, and others to ensure cohesive narratives and seamless execution
Support PR and KOL strategies that drive views, positive sentiment, and amplify integrated marketing efforts
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PR strategy and execution, ideally in tech, lifestyle, or luxury
- Strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset; capable of translating insights into action
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in managing agencies and influencing partners
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile, ambiguous environments
- Passionate about digital culture and content innovation
