Senior Executive Officer (26270189)

The Academic Registry is now looking for a motivated person to perform administrative duties in the Admissions Office. 

Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end operation of undergraduate admissions, including reviewing and vetting applications, communicating with applicants and academic units, issuing offers, verifying documentation, and facilitating enrolment procedures; 
• Serve as a primary liaison for applicants and Faculties/Schools, facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the admissions process; 
• Prepare and compile statistical analysis and reports; 
• Assist in coordination and participation of outreach activities and University-wide events; and
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor to support the objectives and operations of the Admissions Office.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree and at least five years of relevant post-qualification work experience;
• Experience in the tertiary education sector, particularly in Non-JUPAS admissions, is highly advantageous;
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of IT proficiency, especially in implementing automation solutions, will be an asset;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Self-motivated, with a positive work attitude, the ability to work independently, and to perform well under pressure; and
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two year(s).  Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. 
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
