The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is seeking a Senior Executive to support the administration and operations of postgraduate coursework programmes. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end programme operations, including academic services, admissions, examinations, and student engagement, while ensuring efficient processes, compliance with university policies, and a high-quality student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Services & Programme Delivery
Manage programme lifecycle, including course registration, candidature, and graduation matters
Support curriculum planning, OBTL submissions, and academic scheduling
Coordinate internship and research project courses
Maintain accurate documentation and records across academic and administrative functions
Support data management, reporting, and administrative processes
Admissions & Enrolment Administration
Monitor admission cycle and track application, offer, and acceptance stages
Verify applicant documentation and support admission processing
Coordinate admission and/or scholarship interviews
Maintain accurate admission records and track enrolment
Examinations & Academic Governance
Support examination processes, including marklists preparation and documentation
Perform script checks, marks entry, and ensure accuracy
Coordinate examination logistics and support invigilation
Assist in handling academic misconduct cases
Student Engagement, Outreach & Events
Support planning and execution of student engagement activities and programme events
Assist in outreach activities such as information sessions and networking events
Coordinate event communications and logistics
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any discipline
At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in tertiary education preferred
IT knowledge, proficient in MS office applications
Familiarity with academic administration systems preferred
Strong organisational, analytical, and coordination skills
Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team
