About Bangalore Hub
Unilever Bangalore Hub is the global technology and operations engine of Unilever offering business services, technology, and enterprise solutions. It serves over 190 locations and through a network of specialized service lines and partners delivers insights and innovations, user experiences and end-to-end seamless delivery making Unilever Purpose Led and Future Fit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Reporting
2. Accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting through inhouse and third parties
3. Carry out E2E month end close process including Trial Balance and Schedules review
4. Month end journals governance and review
5. Preparation of Local Statutory Financial Statements as per Ind AS along with Segment Results, Notes to Accounts and variance vs Prior Year
6. Coordinate various audits like Statutory, CAD, IFC Audit, etc.
7. Risk Management & Controls
8. Ensure that the Global Financial Controls Framework is embedded & operating
9. Review and compliance of Schedule of Authority
10. Access Rights coordination – modification, addition and deletion
11. Tax Compliance and Assurance
12. Coordination with Unilever Tax team on direct/indirect tax compliances – reconciliation, advance tax, TP audit
13. Support Tax team on queries on Direct/Indirect Tax
14. Employee related activities
15. Review of Actual salary vs. Notional salary
16. Accruals for annual employee payouts like variable pay, share plans etc
17. Performance Management
18. Business Partner to India Centre Head and performance management of seat costs - review, budgeting, control, charge out, variance vs. forecast
Experience and Qualifications
Qualified/Semi Qualified CA

1. Experience in managing month end process and Financials - P/L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow of a large/mid-size organization
2. Hands on experience in SAP
3. Understanding of risk and controls
4. Strong Accounting & process knowledge
5. Strong data accuracy skills and attention to detail
6. Excellent in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
7. Good communication and inter-personal skills
8. Team player who is a proactive self-starter and can work independently.

- Qualified or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
