Position Type Permanent Essential Functions- Perform variety of accounting functions related to daily recording of accounting transactions, financial period close activities, Reconciliations and Reporting.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations and communicate to finance departments on variances and resolve.
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of intercompany transactions, resolving errors/exceptions.
- Recording and maintenance of Fixed Assets. FA Sub ledger to General ledger reconciliations.
- Follow-up with lines of business and stakeholders for closure of accounting open items.
- Month-end close activities, Posting of journals, Recording Prepayments / Accruals
- Fair understanding of Actual_vs_Budget_vs_Forecast, Variance & Margin Analysis with legitimate commentary
- All type of B/S Reconciliation and Analysis
- Sales, Purchase & Stock Reconciliation
- Stakeholder query handling and management
- Maintain data and records in accordance with accounting standards & principles and provide accounting records for review by internal and external audits.

- Timeliness & Accuracy

- Good computer navigation skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, other ERPs
- Knowledge of accounting principles and Management accounting concepts

Education Requirements
- Masters in Accounting / Semi Qualified Accountant
- Graduate in Accounting / Commerce with at least 15 years of education

Skills Required
- 3+ years experience in Finance & Accounts
- Masters in Accounting or Semi-Qualified Accountant
- Graduate in Accounting/Commerce with at least 15 years of education (B.Com)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and good computer navigation skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience with Fixed Asset accounting and FA subledger to GL reconciliations
- Month-end close experience, posting journals, recording prepayments and accruals
- Ability to perform variance and margin analysis with commentary
- Sales, Purchase and Stock reconciliation experience
- Good communication skills in English (written & spoken)
- Ability to multi-task, work in a team, self-disciplined and result oriented
