We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Event Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of large-scale events, including conferences, trade shows, summits, and virtual experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and managing our event strategy to amplify Awardco’s brand presence, drive lead generation, and create memorable experiences for clients and prospects.

The Senior Event Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams, as well as external vendors and partners, to ensure seamless execution of high-impact events. This is a key role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for innovation in event marketing.

What you will do:

1.Event Strategy Development:

  • Help lead the development of a comprehensive event marketing strategy that aligns with Awardco’s business goals and enhances brand awareness.
  • Define key objectives, messaging, and target audience for each event, ensuring they align with overall marketing and sales initiatives.

2. Event Planning & Execution:

  • Plan, manage, and execute both in-person and virtual events, including but not limited to large conferences, summits, trade shows, and roadshows.
  • Oversee all event logistics, including site selection, vendor negotiations, contract management, budget management, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive branding, messaging, and product showcases during events.

3. Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Lead and mentor members of the events team, providing guidance on best practices, project management, and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, contractors, and venues to ensure high-quality event production.

4. Attendee Engagement & Experience:

  • Design and implement strategies to maximize attendee engagement before, during, and after events. This includes the use of innovative technologies, gamification, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure an exceptional on-site attendee experience by overseeing all elements of event production, from registration to post-event follow-up.

5. Lead Generation & ROI Measurement:

  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth through events.
  • Track event performance and analyze metrics such as attendee feedback, engagement, lead generation, and return on investment (ROI). Provide actionable insights for future event improvements.

6. Post-Event Reporting & Analysis:

  • Lead post-event evaluations, summarizing outcomes, attendee feedback, and key learnings. Provide recommendations to enhance future events.
  • Prepare post-event reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech or SaaS industries.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale events and conferences.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Bizzabo, Cvent, Hubilo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience measuring event performance and ROI.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
