Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration, administration, and support of Workday Payroll modules
- Support integrations between Workday and enterprise applications (HR, finance, banking, tax vendors)
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to translate payroll requirements into system configurations
- Monitor payroll processes, interface schedules, and troubleshoot failures
- Support payroll cycles (monthly / bi-weekly / off-cycle)
- Validate payroll outputs including gross-to-net calculations, taxes, and deductions
- Support audits by generating reports, logs, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
Document configurations, SOPs, workflows, and user guides - Participate in change control, testing, and deployments
- Support system upgrades and validation testing
- Stay updated on Workday features and continuous improvements
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Workday Payroll or similar HRIS systems
- Experience with payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Solid understanding of payroll processes (gross-to-net, taxation, deductions)
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to work in global / US business hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Payroll Certification
- Multi-country payroll experience
- Experience with third-party payroll vendors like ADP
- Agile methodology experience
- Experience in regulated industries
- Knowledge of statutory compliance
- Exposure to Workday reporting tools (e.g., Prism Analytics)
- SQL knowledge
