The Role
As a Senior SDR, you’ll nurture relationships with prospective customers in the UK. You will be a driving force behind our growth, collaborating closely with our Strategic Account Executive team and working alongside our Global Business Development team based in the US.
In a market rich with informed buyers, your task will be to craft innovative messages that resonate with our target audience and address their business challenges. Leveraging tools like SalesLoft, 6Sense, and Sales Navigator, you'll generate and qualify leads, initiating impactful conversations that showcase our product's value to prospective clients.
What You'll Do
The core functions of this role include:
- Conducting outreach to potential clients using target account lists, inbound leads, and self-researched contacts.
- Partnering with our Strategic Account Executives to develop strategic plans, build pipeline, and achieve monthly goals.
- Identifying and qualify opportunities to produce qualified meetings that convert into pipeline.
- Engaging with senior/C-Level prospects and develop positive rapport with both clients and internal teams to progress opportunities.
- Articulating Lakeside Software's value proposition, showcasing a deep understanding of our product and the value it brings to enterprise organisations.
- Documenting client interactions and prospecting activities in Salesforce CRM with meticulous attention to detail.
What You'll Bring to Lakeside
The key requirements for this include:
- Business Development Expertise: Ideally, 2+ years of experience in an Enterprise SaaS sales environment.
- Passion for Sales: Genuine passion for selling an outstanding product.
- High Energy and Competitive Spirit: Self-motivated, naturally competitive, and have a strong desire to advance your career in software sales.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to use creativity to stand out, drive activities, and grow your network of prospects.
- Organisational Excellence: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Well-versed in Microsoft applications, Salesforce, and ideally experienced with sales tech tools such as SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, 6Sense, and ZoomInfo.
- Education: Ideally, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
