• Senior Enterprise Exchange Administrator with a wealth of experience in Microsoft 365 Exchange cloud services
• Remote
• M-F 8-5 CST
• $75-$80 hourly
• 3 month contract

Key Responsibility

• This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional proficient in managing Exchange, Microsoft Teams, mail routing, SMTP, and mail functions.
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of our Microsoft 365 environment, covering Exchange Online, Proof Point, OneDrive for Business, and MS Teams.
• Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and security of Microsoft 365 platforms, meeting backup, recovery, and legal hold requirements.
• Implement and manage user identities, licenses, and services in Microsoft 365.
• Configure and manage Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution groups, and email security.
• Ensure efficient mail routing, SMTP configuration, and consistent access to Office 365 services.
• Conduct regular audits to optimize Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online usage and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Plan and implement updates and new features in Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Collaborate with IT team members to define and implement Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online policies.
• Provide end-user training on Microsoft 365 applications and Exchange Online.
• Manage data governance and compliance features in Microsoft 365.
• Coordinate integration between Microsoft 365/Exchange Online and other systems.
• Plan and execute data migration projects within Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
• Offer technical support and guidance to end-users for Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Create and maintain system documentation related to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online configurations.
• Develop solutions in SharePoint/Teams as part of application solutions.
• Develop, implement, and document procedures for collaborative computing meeting global enterprise standards.
• Incorporate best practices into applications and solutions.
• This role offers high visibility and involves working with sensitive issues, executives, and vendors while ensuring continuous security improvements and effective communication across teams.

What you will need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or related field.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 security features and compliance requirements.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• Additional experience with Azure enterprise core infrastructure design and support is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
