To help drive this transformation, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the evolution of our cloud platform and architecture strategy.
What You'll Do
Define and lead the architecture of Esko's next-generation AWS-based cloud platform.
Drive the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
Design and write critical software components and modules.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to deliver cloud-native capabilities.
Establish architectural standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.
Lead cloud modernization initiatives, including microservices, Kubernetes, DevOps, AI-enabled services, data architecture and platform engineering.
Mentor and manage a team of architects while serving as a technical leader across the company. Work with them to develop a clear governance model for tool-selection, and platform evolution.
Guide critical decisions across software development, infrastructure, deployment, operations, security, and reliability.
What We're Looking For
15+ years of experience in software development & architecture roles, with a proven track record building large-scale enterprise or SaaS platforms.
Deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures.
Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development, with expertise in building large-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications using Java and related frameworks.
Proven experience designing and developing high-performance microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems in Java-based technology stacks.
Broad technical experience spanning software development, architecture, DevOps, deployment automation, operations, and platform reliability.
Experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale.
Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring architecture teams.
Expertise with modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, APIs, event-driven architectures, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and security.
Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
Packaging, manufacturing, supply chain, CPG, or life sciences industry experience.
Experience with AI, data platforms, and modern SaaS ecosystems.
AWS Professional certifications.
Experience leading cloud transformation and platform consolidation initiatives.
