Job Summary
Our team develops OEM products for embedded vision, Edge AI, RFID, and spectroradiometer technology used in medical devices, robotics, and scientific instruments fields. As the Senior Electronics Project Manager, you will rely on your previous experience as an embedded systems and/or electrical engineer to successfully lead projects to on-time and on-budget delivery. That includes leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products. You will also mitigate risks and manage project change requests to ensure success in delivery.
Job Description (Primary Responsibilities)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion (encompassing design, build and test), ensuring projects are completed within scope, on-time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, across sites, including engineering, product management, sales, and operations to ensure project goals are aligned and timelines are met. Engages with external stakeholders such as customers and vendors in a structured and efficient way.
- Responsible for the scope of work. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress and ensuring key milestones are met.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing recommendations for course correction when necessary
- Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle, proactively resolving any issues that arise.
- Manage project resources, including staffing and budget allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and allocation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in project management for embedded and/or electronics in a technology or engineering organization.
- Experience managing complex engineering projects involving hardware and systems-level software .
- Excellent working knowledge of common software tools such as Microsoft Office: MS Project and MS Excel. PWA, Arena and Power BI would be a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience developing embedded software and/or hardware board/systems designs highly desired.
Education
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or similar disciplines
- PMP certification would be a plus
Compensation and Benefits
- The base pay for this position is $130,965 to $159,325 per year depending on the geographic market.
- Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
