About the job

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global SaaS platform, directly influencing how leading brands understand and connect with people worldwide. Your leadership will ensure the successful delivery of robust, scalable web applications used by clients across the globe, making a significant impact on both our technology landscape and our customers’ success.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a distributed engineering team through all stages of product development, from concept to launch. Working in close partnership with Product Management, Data Science, and UX teams, you’ll ensure technical requirements align with strategic business objectives. Your expertise will drive the seamless integration of machine learning models and the adoption of best practices in cloud-native development!

You will roll up to a Director of Engineering.

Job Goals

  • Lead the design and delivery of a robust, scalable SaaS platform that meets global client needs.

  • Build and nurture a high-performing, distributed engineering team, promoting collaboration and accountability.

  • Align technical requirements with business objectives by partnering closely with Product Management, Data Science, and UX teams.

  • Implement cloud-native development best practices—especially leveraging AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and modern web technologies (React for UI, Golang & Node for backend).

  • Integrate machine learning models into production workflows, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale SaaS solutions, with a strong track record of leading teams through all stages of product development.

  • Deep technical proficiency in Golang-based backend engineering, and hands-on experience with React.js for modern web applications.

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms—preferably AWS—and practical experience with cloud-native development, including microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines (Circle CI, Argo CD), and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (Terraform, Kops). Knowledge on SRE and tools like Prometheus and Graylog is beneficial.

  • Proven ability to lead and scale distributed engineering teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across global environments.

  • Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems and partnering effectively with product and data science teams to achieve strategic business goals.
