We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Platform Services group — the backbone of Podium’s infrastructure and shared services. This team is responsible for building and scaling the foundational platforms and services that empower all product teams to deliver quickly, safely, and at scale. This is a high-impact role where you will drive the strategy and execution for the platforms that underpin Podium’s growth and product innovation.

• Lead & Scale Platform Teams – Manage and grow engineering teams focused on core platform components such as developer tooling, infrastructure abstraction, and shared services.
  
• Drive Platform Reliability & Scalability – Ensure systems are highly available, observable, secure, and cost-effective. Promote best practices around SLAs, SLOs, and incident response.
  
• Empower Product Engineering – Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities that accelerate their velocity, reduce duplication, and unlock innovation.
  
• Technical Strategy & Roadmap – Define and execute the roadmap for platform services in collaboration with infrastructure and product stakeholders.
  
• Mentor & Develop Talent – Hire, mentor, and grow engineers and engineering managers to build a world-class team and strong technical culture.
  
• Champion Developer Experience – Lead efforts to improve the internal developer platform with emphasis on AI, CI/CD pipelines, service reliability, and build/run/test workflows.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with Security, SRE, Product, and GTM partners to align platform efforts with business needs.
  

• 3+ years of engineering management experience, ideally leading platform or infrastructure teams.
  
• Deep technical expertise in cloud-native systems, distributed architecture, developer tooling, or platform-as-a-service.
  
• Demonstrated success in scaling internal platforms and improving developer productivity.
  
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams through complex challenges in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You can align technical roadmaps with business outcomes.
  
• Experience with hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.
  
• Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, service mesh, observability platforms, or internal developer portals.
