About the role
In this role as a BE Equipment Engineering Engineer, develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the equipment/manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors.
What you will do:
- Project lead for new equipment or improvement action.
- Follows up on LOH improvement actions, monitor effectiveness & close loop to MEEQ teams.
- Continuously identify the equipment risks and update using EFMEA. Escalate issues detected, developing reject trends and close the EFMEA action as planed.
- Review & follow up on QA roving audits and improvement actions. Continuously monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of the improvement actions implemented.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement projects towards meeting quality goal with process team. Work with the team to develop systemic actions based on quality strategies.
- Responsible for quality system improvement in backend test.
- Support and buy off for new equipment / new design/ new process.
- Coordinates with project team for new product /process changes qualification and validation.
- Supports on customer complaint investigation or internal quality incidence.
What you will need:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in test equipment /manufacturing/ process quality.
- Min 5 years experience in semiconductors manufacturing environment, with good process knowledge.
- Good SPC knowledge, process data analysis and problem-solving skill.
- Good in communication and a team player.
- Experience in M/PCps/ FMEA, Cross-site Sharing, Failure analysis and reliability assessment.
- Experience in internal audits according to IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 standard
- Good in project presentation skill.
- Experience in preparing the Change Management Board review presentation.
