Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and test services for SlingTV features in an AWS controlled environment using Go-Lang
- Experience in handling large data sets and migration of applications from a monolith to micro-services based distributed architecture.
- Follow, Create best practices using AWS principles, DevOps and CICD infrastructure from Dev to QA to Prod for scalability, high-availability and reliability of the overall platform.
- Work with Product, cross-functional teams to derive best suitable architecture, integration strategies to maintain high availability and resiliency of the platform.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in Implementing, Deploying, Functional, Performance and Resiliency of micro-services for our Video streaming platform.
- 2+ years of experience in Go-lang
- 2+ years experience in Cloud native platforms
- Experience in system design, iterative design and deployment in a cloud native environment focussed on improving the application stability, resiliency and costs.
- Contribute to development using Go in a micro-services architecture, breakdown the system components for iterative development, peer review the deliverables - Dev, Testing and Build pipelines
- Coordination, collaboration and partnership across multiple stakeholders for seamless execution.
- Ability to aggregate, analyse and correlate large amounts of application performance data leveraging the monitoring tools.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for production events.
