Collaborate with management on customer updates and future plans. Travel may be required for overseas onsite support, training, installations, and configurations.

- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the DB with good troubleshooting and root cause findings.
- If required: travel to on-site support outside India, training, installation, and configuration, etc.
- Requirements:
- 4-5+ years’ experience with Vertica Database as a DBA in a Linux environment or with Postgres Database as DBA.
- Experience in DB Tuning and performance – must.
- Scripting capability in Shell / PL / SQL- must.
- Experience with Oracle/Postgres– an advantage.
- Team player, self-learner,
- BE/ BTech in CSE, ECE,EE,AE Telecommunications graduate with honor from an elite university
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS – Mandatory.
Skills Required
- 4-5+ years of experience as a Vertica DBA in a Linux environment or as a PostgreSQL DBA
- Experience with database tuning and performance optimization
- Shell, PL/SQL, and SQL scripting capability
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in CSE, ECE, EE, AE, or Telecommunications
- Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
- Ability to work as a team player and self-learner
- Experience managing database clusters with at least three nodes
