Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant...
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis and modeling, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and portfolio analysis for Risk Analytics
- Review and analyze complex programing models to extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling specific to businesses supported
- Manage the roll out of pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models for supported businesses and product line
- Make decisions in complex product strategies, data modeling, and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common modeling goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor
- 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data management, governance, analytics, risk, or regulatory reporting.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and control frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and data analytics tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI, automation, and enterprise risk management principles.
- Advanced degree in Data Management, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and enterprise data management frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Alteryx, and data visualization tools.
- Experience leading data remediation, regulatory, and transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI/GenAI, data automation, and Responsible AI principles.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and executive communication skills.
- Experience working within banking, risk management, or highly regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic change, operational excellence, and organizational simplification initiatives.
- Lead data management, governance, quality, lineage, metadata, and control activities across IP RADaR.
- Drive data strategy, risk data management, compliance, and remediation initiatives.
- Partner with business, risk, technology, and data stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Develop executive reporting, dashboards, data insights, and governance metrics.
- Lead data quality assessments, issue management, and control effectiveness reviews.
- Identify automation, AI, and process optimization opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership on data governance, standards, and best practices.
