- Work with the test engineering team to develop, build and validate test fixtures for new products
- Coordinate the design and build PCBA and module and System fixtures
- Develop and maintain test fixture BOM and create test fixture build instructions
- Create documentation and test manuals for the fixtures for smooth transfer to production
- Install the fixtures in the production lines, and train manufacturing test Engineers to use the fixtures for mass production
- Continuously support test issues that occur in the production line, and suggest improvements in the test strategy to increase production efficiency
- Debug skills for PCB’s and modules is mandatory
- Knowledge of Lab view is a plus
- Travel within short notice-20%
- Support various geographies with different time zones
Required Qualification:
- BE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum work experience of 6-8 years
- Knowledge of test equipment including: CRO, AC Source, DC Source, Auto transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers,
- Strong understanding and experience in testing of power electronic equipment including: Higher Power (>5kW) Online/Offline UPS, Home Inverters, and SMPS, solar inverters and converters
- Experience developing documentation and work instructions for test fixtures
- Experience in developing test programs using tools like Labview
- Good understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics circuits.
- Capable of developing test plans, running independent tests, and effectively analyzing and presenting test data
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
