Job Description
- Support BE Media test (PZT, TDS, Magnetic Certification) process.
- Support FE and BE AOI process.
- Certify new head and transfer into back end test operation
- Media BE test vs HDD Drive Correlation and Optimization.
- Support HDD return investigation.
- Qualify & release and new media test process propagation/installation into manufacturing.
- Continue to monitor, optimize, analyze and implement improvement(upgrade) all media test process related.
- Procedure and methodology documentation
- Review project transfers from US and provide assessment feedback, Test metrology review, test process suggestions and improvements.
- Develop new engineering solution (Equipment and Process) for defect detection improvement on media testers.
- Implement process improvements for media tester.
- Test recipe maintenance.
- Resolve media tester QI failures and find solutions to ensure non repeated cases due to same root cause.
- Media quality improvement to avoid post-test failure and test escapee for new equipment qualification to HDD.
- Involved as a team member in FMEA meetings.
- Coordinating test process improvements with operations engineer and technicians.
- Interface with Product Engineering/HME in HDD
- Interface with support team – IT/Product group
- Follow all safety and health rules
Qualifications
- BS degree of Electrical and Electronic or Mathematic or Computer Engineering
- BS degree of Physics Sciences
PREFERRED:
- With knowledge on electronic engineering.
- Experience in working on project, experiment, evaluation environment.
SKILLS:
- Problem solving skill
- Time management
- Project management
- Basic Statistical knowledge
- Technical knowledge of electrical and electronics.
- Basic test and measurement tools knowledge
