Job Title: Senior Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development
Location: Philippines
About the Role:
As a Senior Engineer in Test Engineering for Product Development within our Automotive division, you will play a critical role in developing, validating, and optimizing test solutions for cutting-edge automotive semiconductor products. You’ll collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debug and validate automated test solutions (ATE) for mixed-signal and analog ICs, ensuring robust coverage and efficiency.
- Develop and implement test strategies for new automotive products from concept through high-volume manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, applications, product engineering, manufacturing, and quality) to drive testability and design-for-test (DFT) methodologies.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes for yield and quality issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support qualification and release-to-production activities, including documentation, test hardware/software validation, and customer sample delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, automotive standards, and best practices to ensure our solutions remain innovative and compliant.
- Contribute to process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and productivity enhancements across the test development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, preferably in automotive product development.
- Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal IC test methodologies, ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne), and scripting/programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python).
- Demonstrated experience with DFT, test hardware design, and statistical data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, global environment.
- Experience with automotive quality standards (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) is a plus.
