Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Firmware Debugging & Failure Analysis: Develop, debug, and analyze embedded firmware, with a primary focus on diagnosing system failures.
• Testers Design & Development: Collaborate in the design and development of in-house testing tools and equipment to ensure product integrity and reliability.
• Hardware Integration: Work closely with hardware teams to design tester platforms based on test point.
• Software Development: Develop and maintain software applications for interfacing with testers and hardware devices.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve complex issues across firmware, software, and hardware systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test procedures, and failure reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product design, QA, hardware, and manufacturing teams.
• Responsible for NPI engineering from design stage to high volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in embedded firmware development, debugging, and failure analysis.
• Experience in failure analysis and debugging of Hardware /Firmware issues.
• Able to read PCB schematics and understand HW design.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time applications.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and debugging tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, C# for test automation.
• Hand-on experience in Software developemt.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe etc..
• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers and JTAG debuggers.

Additional Information

Good to have:

• Good understanding of NAND and flash technology is a plus.
• Exposure to any of the statistical tools like Spotfire or Minitab.
• Experience in designing and developing hardware and software testers.
