In the Technology - Advanced Modeling and AI Solutions (AMAIS) Group in Hyderabad, you will work in a multi-functional team of engineers highly skilled in the modeling of process, equipment, structures, and materials. This team's primary responsibility is to support and enable solutions to Micron's most significant challenges in Memory development and manufacturing.
Your role will be to work on a project that directly supports one of our group's critical programs. This project will involve materials or structure or process modeling. You will be responsible for developing and validating process/structure models using machine learning and statistical techniques, to build state-of-the-art products/solutions that helps in predictive analytics, prescriptive solutions, decision support, and decision automation data systems for our technology development and manufacturing teams. You are expected to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment developing models and reporting results to the AMAIS team and collaborating with them on next steps. This position seeks individuals that can code, implement, and utilize numerical models.
Qualifications:
  • Independence - be comfortable executing activities and needs
  • Experience in algorithm development, numerical methods, and scientific computing
  • Experience with computational materials science methodologies
  • Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications
  • Experience with regression, neural networks, and frameworks
  • Strong background in thermodynamics, physics, and chemistry
  • Experience with process and multi-physics modeling, and implementation
  • Experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, and familiarity with the FEM, FVM, PFM methods and implementations
  • Experience with common modeling software, previous software development and Linux experience
  • Experience with Bash, Python, Perl/TCl/MATLAB, or C++
  • Experience with reports and presentations customized for users and leaders
  • Outstanding teamwork and experience with remote collaboration tools
  • Strong debug and problem-solving skills
  • Experience writing reports and conference papers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Background in semiconductor process development or integration is encouraged
  • Familiarity of using AI tools is a plus

Experience: 3+ years of modeling
Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
