The Senior Engineer, Software –AEM designs, develops, and optimizes digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager within a cloud-based environment. This role delivers scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business and customer experience objectives.


Essential Functions for this role include:


  • Design, develop, and implement web applications and components using Adobe Experience Manager to deliver scalable and high-quality digital experiences
  • Develop reusable components and templates using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to support maintainable and consistent web solutions
  • Integrate AEM with external systems and APIs to enable dynamic content delivery and system interoperability
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, content teams, and engineers to deliver user-centric and responsive applications
  • Optimize web applications for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimization to improve user experience and engagement
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Develop and execute unit and integration testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and compliance with standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to content rendering, caching, and system performance to maintain application stability
  • Apply secure coding practices and adhere to enterprise development and governance standards
  • Support deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems to ensure efficient and reliable releases
  • Document technical designs, solutions, and implementation details to support knowledge sharing and system maintainability
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and AEM capabilities to support continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Proficiency in HTML5
  • Proficiency in CSS3
  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Proficiency in Git-based version control systems
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and system integration patterns
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycle standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across application layers
