Senior Engineer, RMQ

• Key Responsibilities:

Conducting, interpreting, and analysing lab and pilot line tests for development projects in wet chemical processes (Desmear and metallization) and electroplating. Planning and execution of sample plating, piloting alpha and beta sites. To develop and test process chemistry in (pilot scale), determine process parameters, analyse, document, and report the results to R&D in HQ. Recording and documentation of test results in form of reports, presentations. Support the product testing and introduction rollout at the customer site globally. Assuring standard process procedures according to quality and environmental regulations. Cooperating in internal and external training measures. Providing support in applications engineering. Adhere to required safety measures.

• Qualifications / professional experience

Educational qualification: M.Sc. / PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Science

Experience (Years): 5 + year of experience in electroplating or handling Chemicals or Paints Industry. Relevant experience in electroplating would be an added advantage.

• Special knowledge

Chemist competency with Analytical & Electrochemistry data Interpretation, Execution of projects and Report distribution in collaboration with R&D leaders

Project management /communication skills/ Adaptability

• Interpersonal qualities

Analytical thinking, Creative & Structured

Ability to work in a team – Local as well as Global Teams

Communication skills - good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Organizational skills & Sense of Ownership

• IT related skills

Software knowledge e.g., JMP, electronic lab notebook (ELN), visualization tools such as TIBCO or Power BI and other data analytics tools would be an added advantage.
