Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer - RF Automation sought by DISH Wireless in Littleton, CO
Serve as the subject matter expert for the Radio Frequency (RF) team to bring automation and tools to all RF-related processes. Join a team of passionate engineers to bring automation and test ML/AI-based network solutions. Own tools portfolio to support the network rollout and optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally to define KPIs and elaborate scorecards and dashboards. Automate data processing. Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing while staying abreast of new technology and technical areas. Lead, follow and effectively collaborate with knowledgeable network, architecture peers and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business partners.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years wireless industry experience in the job offered or as Senior RF Engineer/RF Engineer, Technical Project Manager. Also requires 5 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- 4G or 5G, FCC, and GSMA
- 3GPP RF, L2/L3 (including MAC, RLC, PDCP, and RRC)
- 3GPP specifications, worldwide spectrum and telecommunications regulations.
- Network analytics, Network KPIs, cell traces, E2E network traces, drive tests and network monitoring platforms.
- Performance Management, Drive Test, RF Propagation/Planning, and Call Traces Geolocation.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $155,022.00/Year
