The Role:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to implement quality assurance program to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards. Responsible for driving cross-functional quality programs to improve customer quality performance, reduce quality risks, and ensure effective execution of quality initiatives across products, functions, and manufacturing sites. This role acts as a key interface between Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Business Units to ensure quality objectives are achieved in a structured and sustainable manner. This position requires technical capability and the ability to collaborate cross functionally across customers, sales, engineering, operations, and global teams.
In this role you will:
Partner with the Operational Excellence Program Team to define quality program scope, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics, ensuring timely execution and closure.
Monitor quality performance through KPIs, analyze trends, identify risks, and drive actions to achieve annual objectives.
Apply statistical techniques in data analysis to support troubleshooting, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Prepare and maintain quality dashboards, reports, executive summaries, process documentation, compliance records, and project management materials for management and cross-functional reviews.
Define, refine, and support deployment of quality standards, systems, procedures, and best practices to enhance organizational performance.
Collaborate with global QE teams and cross-functional partners to lead reviews, meetings, and improvement projects, ensuring accountability and closure.
Demonstrate strong planning, execution, learning agility, teamwork, and leadership in alignment with Entegris PACE values.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
Engineering experience in quality, process, equipment, or materials within the semiconductor industry.
Hands-on expertise with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE, process mapping, 8D methodology, root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical analysis concepts.
Demonstrated expertise in KPI monitoring and complex data interpretation using Minitab and Excel, enabling data‑driven decision making, proficient in statistical analysis software with additional experience in big data analysis.
Fluent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capability and logical thinking.
Excellent cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and ability to engage effectively with technical teams and senior management.
Ability to propose and implement improvements to business and quality processes that positively impact customers.
