Job Description
- Will act as shift supervisor.
- Ensure production meets daily and monthly output targets.
- Monitor cycle time, takt time, and line balancing.
- Enforce quality standards such as defect prevention and zero-error production.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen practices.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues like machine breakdowns or process delays.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards like
- IATF 16949
- ISO 9001
- Monitor and reduce scrap, rework, and downtime.
- Maintain production reports and documentation.
- Lead shift meetings and communicate production goals.
- Knowledge of Robotic welding (Tig & Mig).
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- 4 Year degree in Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in automobile manufacturing.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts
- ERP (SAP).
