Knowledge Centre India (KCI)
Knowledge Center India (KCI) is the central engine that drives the operational value for the firm. Established in 2004, KCI has evolved over the years from purely operational efficiencies into more value-added service offerings, becoming a true business partner. There are various teams based at KCI that work with Global Offices, Practice Groups, and the Management across all aspects of the firm's business life cycle. With a headcount of more than 500, the center has 5 core teams working including Experts, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Digital IT, working round the clock on many mission critical elements.

We are part of Digital-IT team established 17 years ago in Gurgaon, India to provide technology support and rollout digital initiatives to 60 plus global offices. Digital IT has six key pillars – Collaboration Technology; Functional Technology; Digital Technology; Security & Architecture; Infrastructure & Services, Digital Success to support business and to take lead on digital transformation initiatives with the total strength of 150+ team members across the globe.
The Position
The Senior Engineer designs, develops, and maintains complex, scalable microservices using .NET and C#, translating complex business requirements into high‑quality technical solutions. The role requires strong hands‑on ownership of system design, integration, and performance‑critical services, with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
The Senior Engineer actively applies Agile and DevSecOps practices, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and security‑by‑design implementation. The role involves troubleshooting complex application and system issues, evaluating new tools and technologies, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams while communicating progress, risks, and challenges effectively.
- The Senior Engineer is responsible for Creating and maintaining complex Microservices using .Net and C#
- The Senior Engineer is responsible for implementing Agile methodology
- The Senior Engineer is responsible for making DevSecOps implementation
- The Senior Engineer should design the systems which can be integrated with other systems/services.
- The Senior Engineer also needs to research new tools and technologies and asked to come up with recommendations on how they can be used in Egon Zehnder applications.
- Candidate should be able to understand the complex business scenarios and implementation of the business scenarios.
- The Senior Engineer will be involved in researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve application and system issues.
- Expected to design and implementation of services bearing a high degree of technical complexity and/or scalability and performance significance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Work in close collaboration with other team members and different teams.
- Regularly communicate status and challenges to team members and management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of solid experience in Microservices development using Event Driven Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of .NET framework 4.5+ and .Net
- Proficient in C#.NET
- Should have experience on Front End Technology- React JS/Next JS
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns
- Working experience on DDD and TDD.
- Experience in working in Agile methodology. Strong familiarity in various project methodology, especially Scrum.
- Strong desire for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Proven knowledge of cloud technologies and migration strategies. Experience in building cloud-native solutions
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Azure DevOps, Git & TFS
- Various Authentication systems, like OAuth, MSAL, SSO, Azure AD
- Must have working experience with Unit and Integration Tests
- Exposure with Microsoft SQL Server or any NoSQL database
- Familiarity with DevOps CI\CD pipeline
- Must have experience in documentation tool like Swagger.
- Good to have knowledge regarding Lucid and Mural.
Cloud:
- Strong knowledge of Azure Functions, Event Hub and Storage Accounts.
- Proficient working with Azure Schema Registry
- Experience on different Cloud hosting services like Azure Web Apps, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Working knowledge with Azure service bus or any message broker.
