Prepare GA, fabrication, civil layout drawings and BOMs; perform structural analysis and load calculations; design and optimize foundations based on geotechnical data; develop specifications; support RFQs, vendor evaluation, BOQs and costing; coordinate with electrical and project teams; review vendor drawings and provide site execution support. Floating solar and BESS foundation experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop module mounting structures (MMS) for ground-mounted, rooftop,
and carport solar projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings including GA drawings, fabrication drawings,
civil layouts, and BOMs.
- Perform structural analysis and load calculations (wind, dead load, seismic) for
structures and foundations.
- Design and optimize foundations (pile, raft, RCC, ballast) based on geotechnical and
soil conditions.
- Develop technical specifications for steel structures, civil works, and mounting
components.
- Support topographical analysis, land grading, and drainage system design for project
sites.
- Coordinate with electrical and project teams for plant layout finalisation and interface
management.
- Prepare and review BOQs, material estimates, and cost inputs for mechanical and civil
works.
- Support RFQ preparation, vendor evaluation, and technical bid assessments.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, structural standards, and project-specific
requirements.
- Review and approve vendor drawings, foundation designs, and construction
methodologies.
- Provide technical support during site execution and resolve design issues; experience
in floating solar structures and BESS container foundation design will be an added
advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech –Mechanical Engineering
- 4–6 years’ experience in solar EPC project engineering
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in solar plant Mechanical design and drawing
preparation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of STAAD Pro and ANSYS will be an added
advantage.
- Experience in RFQs, MDL, costing, and bidding support
- Good coordination and documentation skills
Skills Required
